SAFETY RIDE-ALONG PROGRAM

The full-day Safety Ride-Along Program is the perfect way to cost-effectively train a small number of drivers or those in remote areas – keeping them in territory and saving money by avoiding travel expenses.

The Safety Ride-Along Program is ideal for:

- New-hire drivers who haven’t participated in classroom or behind-the-wheel training
- Drivers who can’t easily travel to regional programs
- Drivers having minor or moderate safety problems* 

An experienced ADTS instructor travels to your driver’s territory, spends a full day observing your employee operate the vehicle during a normal business day and provides comprehensive safety instruction.

At the end of the day, your employee will receive a checklist documenting his or her good driving techniques and areas needing improvement. ADTS will also provide a copy to management.

The learning for your driver does not stop at the end of the day. Your employee will also be assigned a follow-up, online course, that reinforces the trainer’s instruction during their day together.  

* High-risk drivers with a history of crashes and/or violations require the more detailed,
intensive program provided by the ADTS High-Risk One-to-One Training.
