ADTS’ Phil Moser and Jim Costello to Present Common Driver Safety Myths

ADTS, Inc.
June 2008

June 6, 2008 – Advanced Driver Training Services (ADTS) National Sales Manager Phil Moser and Sales Manager Jim Costello will present a driver safety session at Safety 2008, the conference of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), June 9 – 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Moser and Costello will present “Fact versus Reality: Common Myths about Driver Safety & Vehicle Crashes” on Wednesday, June 11.

The session will review the most common myths associated with driver safety and vehicle crashes, while presenting factual data to dispel the myths that can hinder an organization’s efforts to protect business drivers from the risk of crashes. Moser and Costello will provide valuable information designed to help safety professionals improve their driver safety programs and reduce their organizations’ vehicle crash rates. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. workers, causing 1 in 3 worker fatalities and a high percentage of injuries.

Moser is a regular guest speaker at industry conferences and meetings of trade organizations such as ASSE, the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA), the Risk & Insurance Managers Society (RIMS), and the American Fleet Leasing Association (AFLA). A graduate of the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, he was an accident investigation and reconstruction specialist with the Lower Providence (PA) Police Department for 11 years before joining ADTS. Prior to joining ADTS, Costello was Marketing Development Manager for a major truck leasing company, responsible for developing lease contracts and long-term revenue stream. He was a presenter on the agenda of Safety 2007 and has served as a speaker at NAFA chapter meetings.
